Hand picked
The cacao trees are pruned forthighly by hand with a machete. When the cacao pods are ripe with full colour, they are hand picked

Remove the cacao
The cacao pods are cut open with a machete to remove the cocao pulp and seeds

Dry
The seeds are then put oa roof for 5 days to dry

Is blended
The raw cacao is blended to create Black Gold Cacao Drinking Chocolate

Discs
And then turned into discs of raw cacao

Roasted and packed
The seeds are roasted and packed
→
Pulp and seeds
The pulp and seeds are put into large wooden cratesthe pulp ferments and the seeds remain.
